Hi folks. I’ve not purchased the car yet, but I am looking at 120i petrol M-Sport. It’s a 2016 and it’s done just over 31k miles. It’s priced just under 17k. I’ll be going from a 2011 E90 320d. Question is, is it worth considering, what should I look out for? Thanks.

Hi. You don't share much of your criteria to judge if it's worth considering for you.

Handling-wise it must be worse than yours (reportedly) because of the electric rack and it can be relatively on par regarding suspension if you get the sport one (default with M-Sport but could be "deleted") and you have a standard (non-sport) one. This is in case you can't have a test drive though you should. M-Sport is definitely a must if you can afford it, regarding comfort (sport seats - unless you're too wide for them, steering wheel) as well. I do like my M-Sport brakes too.

Regarding reliability I recall no complaints. Regarding everything else you can probably see/decide yourself.
