Why does Bimmerpost ignore these models?

The F44 is at least offered in USA and as far as I'm aware is a global car?

Seems like they are not the only ones ignoring the F40. I have noticed that there has been one standing at the local dealer for some time, but I still haven't seen any of them in traffic. I don't think it is selling well.

The 2er(two series sedan F44) are just about to land at USA dealers right now. Or so I am told. The two series active tourer(aka BMW's fwd mini van F40) are not sold in the USA. I do see alot of these cars driven by the Bayrische Polizei.

It is not intentional, that we have little to no coverage on these car models. But you guys are part of Bimmerpost.com too.... feel free to post a thread or writeup or YT video... and let me or Jason know... we would be pleased to feature it on BP.

My point was more about there not being a home for the F40 (it's actually the 1 series hatch) or F44 within Bimmerpost.

I.e the 1 series section is still all set up for the F20 old shape and has no actual forum area for the new F40. Does that make sense?

i think the f40 m135i is going to have a very very tough time when the Golf 8 GTI and R drop there is nothing to differentiate it anymore, and frankly with regards to the aftermarket world there is 1000s more options for the MQB platform.

Then again the f40 is a new platform new market but are sales big enough that top end tuners would divert RnD away from the golf platform, that lets be frank 10 times the size of the f40 platform? as is my local dealer has said since launch they selling far less new 1 series especially the top end variant then they did with the m140i

I don't think the F40 page will be coming up anytime soon.. Unless Mark decides to create one

Great opportunity for someone to create a BMW F40 forum though
