the front of the car looks like a mishmash of different shapes and sizes of design elements from different vehicles, sad, because the rest of the car is actually fairly attractive! Especially the rear end, has a nice hot hatch look.

Well - we can't get it with the I-6, but it's available with the I-4 - it's just called the X1 or MINI Cooper JCW.

it's like the new X2 35i...because it's a 4 cylinder and not a 6 in line, so the M135i is a 4 cylinder engine

Nobody can get the inline 6 anymore. It is offered with I3 and I4 only now that the rear wheel drive is gone.

Yeah - I realized that subsequent to my post.

It just confirms my tongue in cheek remark, however, in that the USA gets this car already in the form of the X1 and MINI JCW.

Thumbs down

This thread has been moved from the General BMW News and Cars Discussion forum. Moderators don't recognize this model as a BMW. And they use this forum as a garbage bin now.

..Or X2. But the interior of the new 1 is very different (and mostly superior IMO) from all those.

M120i? No such thing. But if there was, it wouldn't exactly be surprising if it was beaten by an M135i..

I guess he means the 4 cylinder "M135i" he doesn't recognise as such (too many threads about the same ) versus his "real" M135i, 6 cylinders.

Yet wondering what made him test that and, in particular, admit he did.

curiosity i guess, i will give it one thing though with some proper mods it can be a serious contender to the golf R on the quarter because one thing it does do is hook up very well from the dig.

It's a nice looking car, still not convinced about the front however.
4 cylinders... it's just the way it's going now and we have to remember most Audi's and VW's follow this rule too.
I still can't decide whether I like it enough to get one at the moment though as it's looks quite similar to a Ford Focus 😐

Seriously anyone know why the new 1 and 2 gram coupe are not in their own actually forum area still.

Weird?

Well, don't you realize it's a wrong model thread?

Here's the LCI Extended Storage boot (taken from here): the "All you need to know." video.

It looks like the parts you question are not from the Extended Storage but from the Trunk room net option (taken from here):
