Any one has AC Schnitzer performance upgrade ?
I am planning to get this kit for my 116i but want to have feedback from those whom have used it in their cars. And to find out if it's worth the money ?
I have seen te charts by ACS but the real life testing by users are far more reliable. So please share your experience with me Thanks a lot! |

I didn't dynoed the car but your 116 come to life with it as it's across the entire rpm range. As for price, it's the only one that bump up 116 past 200bhp so I just go for it. AC is a reputable company so they can be trusted.

Have you had any issues with it or with the way car drives ? How long have you had it on your car?
Is using the upgrade going to put more pressure on the engine, transmission and brakes? Any side affects ? Thanks Thanks |

No. The ride remain as it due to ac tune connecting to canbus for all safety parameters to perform as it. I had it for a year now and as for side effects it's hard for me to answer you as more power = greater wear and tear.

Have you had any issues with BMW warranty or servicing ? Is the service intervals been more often ( can the ECU detect higher load?)
I know it doesn't void the warranty but want to see how's been your experience with BMW after installing the mod. |

Okay cool. I was thinking to get ACS and upgrade the exhaust to one of supersprint CatBacks.
Or sell the car, lose some money , pay extra $10k then get a 08-09 M3 haha |

I bought it straight off their website. Had my dealer install it, as the wire harness is a bit complicated. Five different sensors.

How Hartge seems safer ? What safety measures does it have that ACS doesn't ?
How much power and torque increase have you noticed in day to day life? At what rev range you feel the most increase ? Thanks |
