Originally ordered a 118i in Crimson red on the pretence it was for the missus (she chooses colour) and I could have a litte fun etc...

Now upgraded to 125i but have had to retain the colour and have no option for M kit; hopefully will still look the biz.

the 125i with M Sport looks awesome in black, white, blue etc. I think it may have looked a bit too sporty for the missus so I am hoping that Crimson Red with quality finishing inside (wood and oyster leather) will look ok....

the amount of times I have changed my mind on the options though!!!!

You must be one of the first. My dealer told me the first ones won't arrive until early June. Well done sir.

Be prepared for some attention. I had one of the first Mk 5 Golf GTIs in Oz and even had people chasing me through the traffic and flashing their lights at me.

I will definitely post it out when I experience the same.
I received the letter from my dealer expecting to be late May.
I hope it wont get any delay and also I'm hoping it come with the blue stitching on the steering wheel and handbrake.

Hello Martin - I did not go for either sport or urban line as I wanted a different combination for the interior and in Australia, you get the sports steering wheel and 17" stars as standard with the 125i. I would of liked the M-Sport kit but not available in CR at least for the time being.

Soonwk - can't wait to see your pictures, looks like you may well be the first in Australia with the 125i M Sport.

That's the nature of the beast my friend.

I'm already starting to wonder if I should have waited for the 135i but my lease is up in July plus it's going to be a lot more $$$$ as it won't fall under the LCT threshold if you add a few options....
