BMW 2014 F20 1.16ED - Self braking while driving at rain

Hello Friends

I'm new to the forum and so I had to open a new topic because I couldn't find an answer as a result of my searches. Please excuse me if this has already been discussed.

I have a 2014 model 1.16ED vehicle. Last time I had the rear disc pads and oil change done. Although I do not know whether it happened after these procedures, my vehicle activated DSC while driving on a straight road and almost took me off the road by braking. This happened to my father before, again on a straight road in rainy weather. As a result of the research I did, I learnt that the ABS module has an integrated structure with the operation of the wipers, so this time I travelled in a rainless time by only turning on the wipers. When I reached a speed of about 120 km/h, what I expected happened and my vehicle braked, but this time it did not light the DSC lamps. As a result, I think that the ABS module may be faulty, but I was not sure. Could my problem be caused by the Steering Angle Sensor or the Wheel Speed Sensor?

Probably one of the wheel sensors.
Use a BMW compatible obd scanner to check for fault codes.

Sorry for late answer

In the first place, it gave this problem by running DSC, but then it continued to make sudden braking when I reached speeds of about 100-120 km/h with the wipers I operated whether it was raining or not. As a result of my research, I noticed that there are solutions such as Westinghouse (brake servo), DSC module replacement, brake pad replacement, cancellation of brake drying system with software. What is your thinking?

When I tested it with the OBD scanner, it displayed a fuel temperature sensor error. I'm guessing this is not related to my problem, but it was also displayed among the errors.

No, I didn't check. Could that really have anything to do with it?

Yes, bad earth wiring can cause a lot of that kind of gremlins in car. I had it with my previous bimmer.

Hmmm, never heard of it. Tomorrow I will go to the service centre and have the cables you mentioned checked.

So what kind of problem did this ground wire cause in your car?

Hi!

My car started to loose time and date. After a while other problems started with AC, ABS, DSC, ... Last one was with doors. Then I just go to Indy specialist for BMW electronic and he repaired ground wiring.
Suddenly everything was working. Minus wire (black one) was coroded at the screw to the car body.

I had the ground wires checked as you said, but there was no improvement. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello everyone,

I had cleaned the ABS unit well, but I had not achieved the result. For this reason. I sent the ABS unit, valve block and engine of my vehicle as a whole to the ABS repair person. I will update here according to the result.

Hello everyone, when the last ABS cleaning I did did not help, I sent it to a company that repairs ABS and my problem was solved. If I can find out exactly what the master did, I will write here again.
