Btw the picture you posted was the w11 in Silverstone..... Redbull had 0% chance of winning in 2020 and there was no new tire introduced in 2020.

Based on my knowledge of Italian: brief exchange in Italian between LEC and Ferrari team leader Matteo Binotto after LEC crossed the finish line (00:28 - 01:06):

• Ferrari race engineer (Xavier Marcos Padros): "And [that's] P4."

Also for PER it's the best team.
Where else should he go? He could be a #1 driver at a lesser team (he could maybe replace VET, ALB or MSC next year) but only a #2 at a top team (maybe replacing RIC). (haven;t checked their contracts, so I have no idea if those drivers even can be switched)
This year in theory he even is a WDC contender (I don't rate him better than Max but he's up there in the points). He likes how this year's RB18 drives and is strong in it, and as this is the first year of a new ruleset, chances are high that next year(s) cars will have somewhat the same performance/characteristics.
He's never been this succesful as with RB.

I'm in a spin about that one, but even then Sainz spoke up for the team trying to detract with being held up by Latifi but as you said this is Ferrari and just put it down to some sort of plotting that went wrong for them.

Agreed

In my opinion, Perez is the best driver on the grid (at the moment) to pair with Verstappen.

Not only is he a phenomenal teammate but he's not far off his pace and at this point I think Ferrari has almost no chance of winning the constructors. Verstappen is obviously very grateful for Checo's contribution to helping him become the WDC and I don't think there will be bad blood between the two even if WDC starts getting close. We know that Max will out race anyone on the grid but if Checo can outpace Max on a specific track - I really doubt Verstappen will be angry about him winning. Plus Checo is a mature family man and probably an excellent example to Max.

Not extending Checo would be one of the dumbest decisions RBR can make. They have everything they need to be a WCC/WDC team.

Max's 2021 season is one of the most dominant/insane performances of all time.
