A VERY confusing headunit
Hi guys,
So I’m trying to do some modding of my car and retrofit an apple carplay module seemed simple enough, plenty of information out there - or so I thought. I seem to have this Frankenstein combination headunit. Let me explain, 2014 BMW 1 series sport What looks like an NBT iDrive controller CiC screen 6pin NBT LVDS cable going into the screen Move maps? 606a option? Pro nav? Last 7 VIN: VZ06407 All this looks like a champ2 headunit from what the internet has been telling me but NOPE BimmerCode gives me HU_CIC not HU_Champ2 So my brain is melting out my nose - any and all help would be amazing! Thank you all in advance |

Ah, sorry yes it is 606,
Do you know why when I use BimmerCode it shows as HU_CIC and not HU_Champ2? Yeah looking for MMI but looking since your post can’t see any for champ2 Thanks for the reply by the way |

Cool, on the grounds it appears to be champ2 what mmi box do I get -
I wanted the 8.8” screen which I know is not possible OEM but I’m thinking using the mmi box as a middle man this might work? Anyone had any experience? |
