Look at this X1 pic and it's clear that's not an X1

Plus these are new pics so why would they have all this camo on the X1 at this point? The thing is in production form now there's no need for all this camo.

Its mainly the hoods that seem to grow longer and longer. Its due to pedestrian safety from what i have heard, manufacturers somehow recieve better ratings in crashes vs pedestrians when the hoods are long and low. Not that i knew why, not that i like that design "feature". It also looks disgusting on the X1. Rather await the Q3 then...

Definitely not the X1 - lower body, different wells. This would be next gen the 1 5-door. May share quite a number of parts with the X1 (it could be sitting on an X1 frame). Longer wheelbase than existing - which is a good thing if you expect the back seats to be useable. Meh on the style as shown. Hopefully this is just a mule in terms of body panels because the sides look incredibly boring. Notice there's no swoop.

I am disappointed the car grew it size and probably weight. I was expecting a leaner, meaner, smaller, more agile car..

The next 1 series is 2800 mm wheelbase and I believe it has increased in width (not sure) and ours is 2650 mm wheelbase. I will wait and see what happens!

How can you see the Design in this Status ? Its full camo... there 2 long Years till they get it on the Market. It looks quite good to me, i see on of these on the Roads in Munich, and yes its bigger then the old 5 door Hatch (i stand with mine next to him...)
True to an extent but my statement really was meant for both the current incarnation 5-door and this prototype. I just think the 1er design falls apart when stretched out so far. It's meant to be short and stocky. Beauty is, of course, in the eye of the beholder, though.

It's impossible to tell what the car will look like with the camo and missing body panels. The first spy shot of the 1 coupe looks nothing close to the final product.

I thought we were past the point where every model revision became a little bigger and a little heavier.
