I'm certain it will, as long as its release coincides with the F22/23 LCI.

Yeah, though the Xenons still have LED coronas.

All LCI's are updated to LED. Next gen pre lci will likely not have them.

I think if they brought this to the United States it will great, it's like a 4 door VW golf. And BMW would take those customers. Although this is more expensive than the golf. But I would really like to drive this car just handle great.

I wish it came here. Would be a good substitute to the VW Golf. BTW, I think all BMWs should come with that M-Sport steering wheel. The other just looks rather bulky...

I'd love to have that 135i 4 door in Canada. Hope it is available next time I buy a vehicle. Much more practical than my 335i Sedan and would likely haul by bicycle better inside.

Yes the worlds economy changes fast - this week out of the blue the swiss franc jumped 20% over € and $ and then traditional high selling markets changed too and bmw - maybe other manufact too - are all over the place. The feeling I get is that bmw has been chasing audi and the vw group (because they need to?) (going fwd design similar between all cars etc )and forgot what the brand is all about. So blame it on the world or on the managment and design team? My money is in the big boys in munich.

That said the lci improves over the original design - thank to us I would like to think despite scott saying he and his buddies laugh at our reactions to the design but the truth is that bmw doesnt seem to find our opinios very amusing and changes things we point out just look at the bmw i8 cant sell enough but bmw just introduced a mini lci to the interior this week to correct things I posted here in bimmerpost and told my dealer when he brought an i8 to my house for a test drive and i pointed out to him some of the plastics in it were worse than i rental renaul clio I drove in Milan
I agree, the i8 interior is very cheap for the cost of the car. Secondly, the rubber looks wrinkled and silly, I would not pay that money for that interior.
I would gladly work with BMW team to show them what they need to do to succeed; many times they just go over litle things that cost nothing but will improve everything. They definetely need a keen eye for detail.

still a MUCH better looking car than the US spec 2-series....which looks very japanese/korean. Still not a fan of the driving dynamics...am driving a 228 sport line right now as a loaner and it is totally uninspiring and soft..

even still...i think if they brought an M135i to the US market i'd be interested in getting one for the wife...would be cool to have a BMW hatchback in the US market.

The biggest difference is in the climate control console.
The pictures are different, but both are of the LCI.
The difference are manual AC and digital AC, does anybody order the former?

They don't have these in the USA because last time they tried a hatchback was 95-99 with the 318ti. As we know, it failed miserably. But the market has changed since then. Those were the days of the SUV craze. Not saying that's not still a factor here in America, but c'mon BMW. You had one hell of a year, why not give it another shot.

Having owned a 318ti in the past, and loving the blend of practicality and driving pleasure, I'd gladly ditch my 335xi for an m135i. Hint hint BMW...

I so missed not being able to buy the 5-door E87 hatch when I was buying my E82. Lets hope BMW brings this to the US

Visualizer is up on bmw.be, it shows what the M135i will look like as well.

It seems to have a 2-tone front bumper.

I think Glacier Silver will be popular on the M135i LCI since it will hide those front flicks and those silver mirrors. Valencia Orange is now also an option on the M135i. Still has the same wheels though, so no new options there unfortunately.

The visualizer is here just in case you may want to play with it yourselves

Great link! The grey accents on the front bump is a easy fix to get it in body color or black. It might be a option as well, who knows...
