Meh

Really disliking the new tail light designs of all the new LCI's coming around with the lower light bar now dipping down laterally in comparison to being parallel.

"New headlight design"
Yeah no Shit Sherlock
The earlier ones were but ugly
I can still remember when scott26 said some marketing lingo about how they were a nice feature
So nice, they were removed in the facelift

Bravo BMW, that looks SO much better than the bulbous, bull-nosed 1er currently on sale. The tail lights are much more appealing as well. If only they'd sell this in the US

Nicely done although it looks a bit more generic and me-too compared with the pre-LCI. The back reminds me of that Lexus hybrid 5-door thing. Still lovely though.

What. An. Improvement! Well done BMW! So glad they got rid of those ugly headlights and went with more traditional style/shaped ones. This is what I imagined the 2-Series headlights to be when the 2er was still camo'd up -- if only this can be done to the 2er and the teardrop headlight and very ordinary looking taillights.

Now it looks like a modern/traditional BMW.

Don't like it, yes the front lights look better but thats it, whats with all that black plastic on the front? And the rear lights looks like someone just bolted the extra bit on, also looks less aggressive, they could have done so much better

Dear BMW,

Please allow me to be one of the first to congratulate you on finally coming to your senses and fixing that flippin Fugly face that you had on the previous 1Hatch.

Also nice work on improving the rear end, this is nice.

Also "Thank you" for making headlights akin to what people that actually know and like cars - find nice.

"Thank you" for not applying this new madness (or virus) of connecting the headlights to the centre grill of the car... which looks like on so many of your new models and many of the other manufacturers jumping on the same band wagon.

Seriously, nice work!

Looks great. I'm so surprised it's not for sale here as I believe it would do well.

This car is f*cking perfect.

So f*ck you BMW for not bringing it over here. You suck on levels previously unimagined.

So pissed right now...

Omg! Looks amazing. Wish it was available here in north America. Love the new tails, guessing the new 3er will get similar lights!

What a huge improvement. Glad to see the headlights and taillight design is fresh without being over the top.

Here are some better comparison pics between the new facelifted and the unfacelifted 1 series.

Also added a pic of where I thought BMW got their concepts.

Personally I like the new lights, don't like the new front bumper and don't like the rear.

Looks a TON better!

Glad that standard LEDs front and back are trickling all the way down the model lineup. Next step is for BMW to stop the silly practice of limiting them to the LCI, though.
