F20 driver side heating not working - only cold air

Hi all,

Dual climate control F20 2012 plate only giving hot air on passenger side (left hand side). Drivers side is cold even when on 28 degrees setting.

am trying to establish possible causes.

One I believe could be the blend flap actuator, the other....worst case....I suspect is the heater core/exchanger.

Has anyone had similar symptoms and can advise what they did to resolve?

thanks.

I'm here in Japan, I have a 2013 120i Sport that I'm experiencing hot on the passenger side and cold on the drivers side. Plenty of anti-freeze in the system, got heat, but sounds like flap actuator issue. I suppose I'll take the radio out (again), and see if I can see where the actuator is and see if maybe tapping on it to see if it opens?

Has anyone else fixed their issue since you first posted? Thanks.
