Touch sensitive buttons!

Hey

Did anyone notice that the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 buttons are touch sensitive?
So you set up the radio station you want, and you can just touch your finger to see which ones its setup/registered, before pressing and selecting.

I thought this was worth a share, if you do not know.

You can also assign addresses or contacts... in case you didn't know

For example I just press 1 to call my wife, 2 my father... 5 to guide home etc.

And you can use it for iDrive shortcuts to favourite menu screens.

Garage List
It has been discussed before and it is not a new feature for BMW. It has been there at least since the launch of the Z4 (E89)...in that car I have seen this feature for the 1st time. It is a nice touch though.

Navigation Business.
I was referring to this bar chart, which every BMW with the "Drive Mode Selector" (Eco Pro / Comfort / Sport (+)" should have:

No, I think you need the bigger navi screen for that view.

If you only have Navigation Business (like me) or Radio Professional, you need to have the "Black panel display, full " (the larger display below the rev counter) too. Then you do get the "Consumption History" view.

I don't have any Nav but I do have the extended black panel display and can get that chart. It also shows what mode you were driving in when showing the figures were calculated.

I don't have extended black panel, and I don't have this info screen. Interesting that you need the panel to get a chart that is not on the panel. :-)
