Chances are you'll only need to update one option. |

Hi all, sorry to revive an old thread but I want to provide some information based on my experience doing this.
I have a 2019 118i just like paivig. I purchased a Droid UK MMI box for CarPlay. My 118i does not have AUX, so I coded it in by ensuring that these were set to "aktiv" on my EntryNav2 head unit: 3000 HMI: CDMM_AUX_HU CDMM_ANALOG_AUX CDMM_AUX_SIMPLE_1 Once set, the Aux output appeared in my car. Unfortunately selecting this did not provide any sound from the MMI box, although at maximum volume, I can hear the sound, but it is VERY faint, almost like it's picking up the sound as interference, a lot of static noises. I am interested to hear feedback from anyone who has coded in Aux who found that it actually worked and allowed them to hear sound from their MMI box, if that's you, what car do you have and what MMI box are you using? |
