I know these caused a ton of developmental damage and for some odd reason they burned your throat after drinking them but it was worth it.

I wouldn't call it a burn per se. More of a tingling sort of what I notice with Sunkist! Never cared for either.

are they usually this salty? I feel like I'm literally eating the bottom of a bag of heavily salted pretzels...

I guess so. I'm not a salt lover but I enjoy them. I pretty much only eat them when I'm hungover so maybe that's why. That really sucks for you. Maybe the 4 year old will like them.

I just wasn't prepared for how salty they are... maybe I should try those flamin hot funyuns... get a little spice to mask some of the saltiness

Haha, I like salty snacks. I like Funyuns probably in large part because how salty they are. I can PM you my address or is it local pickup only for the Funyuns?

Sorry everyone, feel like this thread ended up being very anticlimactic. I'll do better next time.

I have a certain plant I have on order... when that gets delivered I'll create an epic thread for it.

I think pairing them with a coke icee would have balanced the salt and made for a nice snack.

Nah it was good. Taking a road trip tomorrow and now I will skip a stop at McDonalds. I usually go about once a year and then remember why I stay away. I think I can live vicariously through your Funyun disappointment and avoid another McDonalds let down.
