This naming scheme makes sense to me: F1x M Performance = ///M*50 F3x M Performance = ///M*40 F2x M Performance = ///M*35 And for the models just below the M Performance line, we could be offered this: F1x = *40 (535i becomes 540i at LCI, perhaps) F3x = *35 F2x = *30 (~255hp N20 model, perhaps) |

But there would still be a confusion between the 335i and the ///M335i : the latter has more power and is more upmarket yet it sounds too much like the 335i. On top of that, the ///M3..i should get 340ps (not 320ps like the ///M1..i) in order to fight the Audi S4 and to create a power gap with the 306ps, so ///M340i makes more sense to me than ///M335i. But for the 1er/2er you are probably right. |

Looks great but for the lights. Let's just keep mentioning the lights in the hopes that they change it quickly. The lights don't match.

I couldn't say how much power it will have, exactly. Certainly somewhere in between the most powerful N20-based F2x offering and the M2. I would say the standard N55 @ ~300hp is a good bet, with the ~320hp version also being possible but less likely, in order to give the M2 more breathing room. Quote:
And here again, I couldn't say how much power the car might have. Somewhere between the 335i and the M3. I suppose 340hp sounds about right - just a little below where the M2 will probably fall, and very comfortably below the M3. |

IMHO, headlights look too droopy. Just like this:

Of course in either case, you are facing a dizzying array of legal hurdles. It's just that, in the case of Mexico, at least you don't have to pay to actually transport the car itself. |

Wow... the "M135i"... the best of no worlds. Oh... and also hideous.

It looks better....but what's with the black mirrors? They don't flow with the design, are not body colored and they look "square".. kinda like my E30's stock mirrors (I ditched those fugly things or some BMW Gruppe A mirrors)
The headlights look a lil better but the grille looks odd on there...I'm hoping the coupe and convertible looks a lil better than this. Veryyyy curious to see how they can make this and make it look good as a convertible...BMW has Work to do! Not terrible the F21, but not "sought after". I think I dreamed about my E88 arriving every single day as I was waiting for it's arrival in the USA.

I know the styling is controversial (ugly) to some. I like the over all styling, especially like the M-style front and rear bumpers.
