Help me identify this mule.

I recently relocated to the Detroit area and while the roads are absolute shit, my 13 year old and I enjoy seeing all the camo'd vehicles running around and trying to figure out what they are. Unfortunately he wasn't with me and I'm a terrible paparazzi so I'm sorry the picture is not the best and it's the only one. Any idea what this is? We thought it may be the NSX Type S but the exhaust seems to high. Also, what's up with all the cameras on the roof?

Welcome to Metro Detroit! Being the "motor city" that we are, you tend to see all kinds of camo'd cars running around. Hell, I saw 2 of them in my neighborhood in Livonia this week.

I concur with the others and think thats likely a Maserati. The cameras may not be just cameras, they may be other types of sensors. Its hard to tell from the photo.

It could be a driver assists features mule (Lane keeping, SAE L2+ or L3 type features), though an MC20 is a strange choice for that. I would expect it on a Levante.

your crap roads can't be worse than the garbage we drive on in Pa. I know for fact your gas tax is no where near ours !

Welcome to metro Detroit! At least our governor ran on the campaign promise to “fix the damn roads” so I’m sure great things are coming /s.

We do get to see a lot of test mules out and about, mostly trucks and SUVs unfortunately. I did get to snap a picture of the 992 Porsche 911 before it came out:
