I'd rather watch the Eagles vs Giants.

So far (10 min into it) it sucks ass, the hosts suck. Thats what make the British version hell of a lot better. they dont have the same senses of humor

+1, it's flaccid as hell so far. Little chemistry between the hosts and almost no technical talk. Well, we're only 15 mins in, see how the rest turns out...

I saw the preview and there is no way those dudes can approach the droll humor of Clarkson and company.

Back to football...

Im watching the eagles giants game too but i can promise you there arent a trio of hosts that can live up to Clarkson, May, and Hammond. That being said maybe we should be reviewing the info that the show gives ie. does this help us understand cars better?

I'm watching. I've seen every episode of the original UK version over the years, and am a huge fan. There is no way this will live up to those expectations, but I'll still watch.

The show's got potential, but I just can't stop thinking about how much better the original is.

The minute they showed the commercial of "167 miles in a four-door," they lost all credibility and I just didn't even bother. Are you kidding? 167 miles is not fast at all... Especially in their testing conditions on a straight...

I like the cars, and what they are doing with them....

But i agree with everyone else...the hosts arent NEARLY as good. Not even close. There actually isnt any humor.

Buzz Aldrin was a good touch though, i finally knew the celebrity (unlike the UK version most of the time).

Just about to watch it on the dvr but I know it will suck. Nothing can beat the enthusiasm of europeans, all people in the states want to hear about is how big their trucks are....

The show will fail but I wish it wouldnt

It was bad, really bad! The show had great potential, the production quality was even decent, but the hosts completely ruined it. There was no humor, no technical talk and it seemed like the hosts didn't really know what they were talking about, do the other two guys outside of Tanner know anything about cars or is it all just BS talk? I think if anyone has seen the British version, disappointment will reign, but this was expected...

The real show is better, but I'll still watch it.

Just not the same without jeremy clarkson and the rest of the gang.

Give them a chance! Rewatch some of the first episodes of the original Top Gear from 2001 and compare the two.

They will evolve in one direction or another.
