I am right where you are at. I had my summers on by April 1st last year. But here i sit looing out the window at 2 feet of snow on the ground still and the forecast doesn't show much for temps over 40 Fahrenheit for the next few days.

But on a positive note a friend of mine installed a legit car lift in his garage over the winter so i will be heading there to do the wheel swap. Much better than doing it wheel by wheel in my driveway bending over and getting dirty.

Cheers to a warm up!!

You have it really rough. There is a younger dude driving a brand new Audi s5 convertible and he was rolling around a couple weeks ago with the top down. It was about 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Lots of respect for that move, just crank the heat and wear a warm hat.

Trust me, I am just dramatic. I grew up in NJ and Wisconsin, now I am spoiled in Florida so I complain about less than perfect weather

Also in Utah. I dug our Beetle vert outta the shop last weekend and managed to drive it for a day...with the top up. lol. But wanted to give it a quick checkout after winter storage.
Ironically, the Cayman was driven over the winter anytime it was clear enough.

More snow possible next 7 days, then maybe 5 semi-clear days, and oh great possible snow on 4/8 which is furthest forecast day.

My current M4 cab is too pristine I decided not to use the first winter, maybe took it out twice, Z4M will never see winter. I need to drive more, WFH sucks, once May comes around I am taking one of them out for a drive at least twice a week with no determined destination.

Neither of us WFH, so we just alternate cars every day and carpool.
The beetle still only gets a few thousand miles per year. Every thing else gets more.
Whereabouts are you? I'm up past Ogden

Finally sunny here in SoCal for the next few days. Supposed to be more rain coming on Wednesday, though.

So, is spring here?

WFH is not good for a car nut like me. I am in Kaysville. The car that gets the most use is the i3 as they are building the legacy extension by school and its a dust or mud pit down there and will not take my cars. X7 is primary family vehicle that's #2, I used it more this year because of the winter we've had compared to past few, and it's the only choice for trips around the west. Did take the current M4 to Grand Junction for a kid free trip and that was so much fun, I need to do more spirited drives around Utah.

I work on base so end up in the same general area.
We've managed a few fun group drives with the local PCA folks and others with some local clubs. Also hit the track after work occasionally to get some laps in which is always fun.
Hoping to take the X3M out there after break in mileage

At UMC? Let me know next time you're going. Went for the track laps once, still have a GC. Was in my 1st M4, would love to take the M5 but may not be the best choice, would prolly take the Z4M.

Yes. UMC. I usually just head out after work and run for an hour or two.
