Just been taking in the latest updates on iOS 6 and it appears that Bluetooth MAP is supported as per the screenshot below:



According to the compatibility check; this is what I have so far



So hopefully this will give us SMS and other office functions with Nav. Has anyone had the opportunity to try it?

I have a developers account with Apple and have installed it on my iPhone 4S - so all I need now is my car which is due on Monday

I also have dev account and already installed iOS 6... But I only have Pro System, not Nav..... I will receive my car in a few hours...let's see

Misanty, two questions if you don't mind:

1) Where is that screenshot of the available features from?
2) What options are specced on your car? I'd like to figure out if I could get any of this stuff working with 6NH...

Looks like all notifications get sent From this screen shot it looks like a bit of a hack - I guess to make this usable a bit more discrimination on which notifications get sent would be needed.

I have a x3 F25 with Professional GPS and option 6NK. I have an iPhone with iOS6 but I can't read message from BMW Office... I think that this picture is a fake.....

Ist works. I have an f20 with Radio pro and with iOS 6 it shows all Push Messages in The organizer like in The picture Above. Very Nice Feature

Hello, I have the Radio Pro also (not navigation) and iOS 6... where can I find that option?

So I picked up my car yesterday and have spent a little while learning the iDrive; I guess it is a matter of becoming familiar with it but I have had some difficulty in getting around.

I have discovered that in the bluetooth menu you can enable various options on the device including office functions; I managed to do this once after I had done the bluetooth software update and although I had enabled notifications over bluetooth on my iPhone i wasn't able to get them on the iDrive.

It may be because I am being a bit thick - I am also not able to work out how to access video on my iPhone - I probably need a little more 'fiddle' time to work it out...

yeah, you have to enter the bluetooth options in the telephone menu. there you can activate office. when you then goto office in the idrive and the contact list appears you have to swipe left and you can select messages if your iPhone is connected via bluetooth.

i have the radio pro, the big bluetooth thing and the snap in. it only works when you're iPhone is connected via bluetooth I think and its a little bit buggy, perhaps because iOS 6 is a early beta.

another question, anyone any idea if the plugin feature (the iPod view by music) is possible with the radio pro? perhaps with connected drive?
