Not too bad. 116i sports line + xenon would cost you 43.000 euros in Norway.
I am paying 62.000 for the 120d M sport automatic (with some options) that I ordered two days ago. How stupid am I

guys you are earning your money in euros this is a fact. in turkey recently euro passed 3 TL mark.

i don't know the exact amount you guys earn but to give an example it should be head to head like 3000 euros and 3000 TL and here comes the problem for us it is like you buy the car for 40000 euros you earn but the same price here is not 40000 for our earnings or savings. it triples that your equivalent specced cars' prices in terms of our potentialities. it is 120000 for us which really hurts for a compact premium car. also it is a well known fact between us that none of the cars that are sold in turkey deserve their high prices and that much tax.

I guess only one person in this thread is paid in euros. Norway and UK are using other currencies. Income does of course vary from country to country, but so does living cost. You would struggle to survive in Norway with Turkish income.

Currency exchange rates play a big part. If I convert the price of my car to Euros using the rate from November 2012 (when I ordered my car), it was € 61.300. If i use today's rate, it's "only" € 53.600.
