Osram LED headlights retrofit problem

Hello,

For a friend of mine, we did the retrofit to the new OSRAM LED headlights.
Originally, he had the OEM xenon headlights installed.

After installation, everything seems to work perfectly but there was an error message on the dash about the vertical aim control which wasn't working properly. Which is true because the new headlights doesn't have vertical aim control.

I managed to clear the code by disabling the C_FLC_ENA. Which isn't a problem for now anymore.

But, we ran into another problem.
By turning on the high beam, the high beam automatically switches to normal beam and high beam into several seconds. After a few times, the high beam won't come up anymore until the car is restarted.

After reading codes on the car I came on this codes:

Fault memory
SGBD BNTN code Description Vehicle mile Is currently age present?
FEM_20 --- 0x8041A4 Bi-xenon flap, left, has short circuit 89609 Yes
FEM_20 --- 0x8041AF Bi-xenon flap, right, has short circuit 89609 Yes
FEM_20 --- 0x8041B6 LWR system faulty 89666 No
FEM_20 --- 0xD90C13 LIN-bus headlight driver modules: No communication 89666 Yes
FEM_20 --- 0xD90D2F Headlight driver module (TMS) left (LIN): No LIN-slave 89609 Yes
FEM_20 --- 0xD90D32 Headlight driver module (TMS), right (LIN): No LIN-slave 89609 Yes

Is the flickering of the high beam like a visual error code from the car to tell there's something wrong?

How to fix this?

Thanks!

Regards, happy holidays!

The Problem is these Headlights are only for cars with Halogen as oem spec.... so you have to remove the xenon in the fa.. and youŽll ned a new lightswitch ( for halogen headlight spec)

http://lightistransformation.com/sho...heinwerfer-hal <- check at Ordereing Information

So if I remove 522 out of the VO and code the FEM the problem should be solved right?

not completely.. the wiring for the manual vertical aim control is missing, youŽll need a new lightswitch and the pinning at the headlights is different..

Damn too bad, deleted the 522 out of the VO and the car was throwing errors from all sides.
Lights weren't working like they should. So I coded 522 back in, the car is actually error free and the lights are working properly except for the flickering high beam.

Strange that it's actually better when the car has xenon coded in.

Where is more info te find about the new wiring & light switch?
