Difference between modes
Hello,
I got F20 2015 PreLCI before few months. 116d, manual gearbox and M Package. Between different sport modes, I only notice throttle responsiveness change although people on forum say that there is stiffer steering even if you don't have adaptive suspension. Here is picture equipment decoded from VIN: |

Hello,
Not with your basic steering option, at least: https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...66&postcount=9. Also, if you step on it harder (on wet/slippery surface in particular), you should notice wheelspin allowance difference between different sport modes. |

Hello, You must have also S2VL option: Variable Sport Steering. |

Be aware that these functions are user-programmable.
The previous owner may have selected that "Sport" only changes the throttle and set the steering to remain in normal mode. Look for it in car settings, driving modes... |

My 2014 (pre lci) 116i Sport does not have variable power steering, only the throttle response changes in Sport mode.
In the menu there is also the 'sport displays' option which shows the dials but pointers don't move. Neither options can be enabled/coded. |
