So what's happening is a bit weird, my 116i (jap import RHD) has both xenon headlights and LED angle eyes.

If I leave the dial to auto lights, then only left LED angle eyes turn on.
If I leave the dial to 1st click on the right, then both LED angle eyes turn on.
If I leave the dial to 2nd click, both angle eyes & xenon lamps turn on.
At night, for welcome light only left LED angle eyes turn on.

So I can verify both angle eyes are working, but only left side works when I leave the dial on auto.

I also have a vertical aim error code (which I'm assuming it's the left side because it moves up&down intermittently)

Plan is to just check the connectors next time I raise the car. Anything else I should check? Thanks

EDIT : for anyone experiencing similar issue, #5 DRL cable was broken inside the connetor/or when wiggled, it came out loose. Had to get a new connector & solder new wire and its been working fine. So check your wires
