True, but the wiring and the slot to fit the controler is already there. So it is only a matter of changing the iDrive controler.

Does anybody retrofited the 6NH to 6NK by the dealer ?
I'm trying to do it with my dealer but they didn't answer me if it was possible...

It doesn't mean it won't be in the future, though.

Easy? Yes...Cheap? NO! You need the mirrors with the electric motor, wiring, switch (you have to change the whole switch module which includes the window switches as well) and programming. In Greece, a friedn of mine was quoted approximately 1.000 Euro, but the delaer was not sure, since he did not know the exact labour hours required.

I also asked this at my dealer. Each mirror costs 300€ (I mean the reflective layer, the glass section, not the whole piece)

They have never been...I do not know why. And I guess no one know why BMW choses to offer some extras as retrofit and others not. For example in the previous Z4 (E85) the Xenon lights were offered as retrofit only for the pre-LCI model and not for the LCI!!

Neither of the two extras you want is offered as retrofit, so if you want them you have to pay alot.

I asked my dealer- it's because of how much work is involved. The dashboard would have to come off to fit it

Yes, but then you have to figure it out yourself. Sometimes you can find fitment guides on internet/youtube.
