Congratulations! Your wait is almost over. I expect your impressions when you get the car. Just a question: How much time has passed since the order to delivery?

Just one more day to go before I pick up the beastie. I should know better at my age, but getting so excitted now and the day is going to pass so slowly...

Does anyone know if you can configure the car with the adaptive suspension to have for example the comfort suspension , but the sport throttle map?

I don't think that's possible according to something I read somewhere . The settings alter throttle map, steering sensitivity and suspension settings all in one go.

Maybe have a look at the idrive settings for the different modes: sport, sport+ etc.

That is true. Real pain for you, but at least you are getting the spec you wanted now.

I picked the car up this afternoon here are a few quick snap shots before the rain came

Only had chance to drive a few miles. What I can say is that the noise it made starting it up at the dealers was awesome. It is quite muted inside the cabin although I have been taking it very easy.

Congratulations washy. What a nice car! I'd love to hear the exhaust note on the startup. Have fun!

^thanks! still not used to the headlights though. But the overall lines of the car are simply georgeous. I really love my car but this one would have been my second choice without a doubt.

The headlights are not the best feature. I missed out on a 1M coupe, but I am more than happy with this.
