[Specter01]

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a 2013 BMW 116d and I've noticed it's consuming about 1 liter of oil every 1500 km. I'm not very knowledgeable about cars, just know a few basics, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I removed the splash shield and saw oil near the starter. From what I could see, that was the only place with visible oil, so it seems like it might be leaking from somewhere above.

Any advice on what could be causing this and what I should check next would be greatly appreciated!
