I've recently had a transmission fault (image attached) pop up on the idrive that stays on for 5-10 seconds before going away and this has happened a couple of times in the last 2-3 weeks, most recently when parking up. From what I can tell there's no difference to how the car drives and no error on the dash.

I will get this checked out but has anyone had the same fault or does anyone have any idea what could be causing it.

I just bought the car 6 weeks ago with 6 months warranty but regardless, I'm hoping it doesn't cause a big issue.

without reading the fault memory.. it could be thousand things to make the message pop up....
