Cannot physically remove condenser

Hi all,

Was DIY replacing condenser today but I cannot seem to physically pull off the condenser connection metal hose/connector? I've attached a photo herewith. I've removed all the necessary screws & applied WD-40.

I've heard that there's also a condenser support clip somewhere but I also can't seem to locate that?

Help would be very appreciated. Many thanks!

I think I might cut a section of the hose out from both AC lines then remove condenser & see if I can get the mount off. If not I'll probably replace it with a used mount from eBay but what's your opinion on re-connecting the cut part of the AC lines?

Would I have to weld replacement sections for both or can i just splice rubber hose and crimp it to the existing AC lines?

Final solution would be replacing the lines totally, but that'd be a much bigger job...
