Nice. I would have ordered the F20 without arm rests if I knew it was possible. I think they are always in the way, in all cars. Maybe because I always adjust the seat to the lowest position, and the arm rests are not moving down accordingly.
In my old E30, I removed the arm rest from the door to get more elbow room. In my old E36 323ti, I tilted the arm rest up, and secured it with a screw, so it was out of the way. |

It's a different console: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_8582. (Although #2 looks so similar to #3... Is there, at least, a fitting facility for it: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=51_8584? )
I did mind the arm rest when considering the car: it did not come as a noticeable obstacle and I don't notice(/touch?) it currently at all. I haven't even decided if I want it slid forward or back. This should be because I sit reasonably high for best visibility and safety. |
