Imported music - 'Random' setting won't stick
I have an F20 with professional navigation, and I've just tried to import some music into the built-in harddrive. This went fine, the music plays fine, but it won't remember that I've ticked the 'Random' setting.
It's the exact same box I've ticked for playing music randomly from my iPod via the Y-cable, and I haven't had any problems with this but for some reason it won't stick when it comes to the harddrive. Anyone else experiencing this? |

I am not sure to fully understand what you did but I can tell you I have experienced same issue while playing my iPhone on USB. There is random box in iPhone/iPod but also one in the system of your car. You can tick or untick the option while you are playing in music. You have access to this after pushing the option button (while you are playing music). Hope it helps...

Yes, if I tick the 'Random' box while listening to my iPod, it will stay ticked for...ever. However, if I do the same while listening to the music I've imported into the car's harddrive, it will only stay ticked until I shut off the engine again. The next time I start the engine I have to tick the box again to play random tracks.
