Just noticed some water in the side compartment where the hard disc and tow eyelet are stored on my 120d, 2018. I must have sucked out about 500ml with a syringe.

Any clues to what to check for. I read that it may be down to the air vent in that area. Best way to check that? How would water even get to the vent giving that its behind bumper/car panels?

Any other things to check?
