F20 missing at ~2000 revs

My 2013 f20 120d xdrive has developed like a 'missing' type judder when going through rev range at around 1800/2000 rpm. It's worse after a long run e.g. when exiting motorway and pulling away from roundabout and also stop start in traffic. Ticks over fine and drives sweet once through 2000 revs. Been advised it may be injector related. But judder is quiet pronounced so unsure. Ive run with MAF sensor disconnected but this made no difference. Had injector cleaner in and I know DPF regen works fine. Any clues? Thanks for any guidance or similar experiences.
