Best Deal on M135 in Melbourne
Hi All,
Current owner of MY009 Audi S3 and hoping to soon get in the BMW M135. Can anyone suggest a dealership in Melbourne that will do a good deal? I've heard 15% off RRP is achievable? Is this a pipe dream or there is a truth to it? Any advice/help would be much appreciated. Cheers Vlad |

M135 - Hatch
8SP Mineral Grey Smartphone Interface DAB Tuner Nav Business Park Dist Fr and Rear To be honest, I am fairly happy with the standard specs, just few things extra. Any chance you could let me know how much did you pay drive away? (welcome to pm me if you don't want to post) Thanks Vlad |

Whatever you do, go for the HK system. I'm not aware of the price of it in Oz but unless your not at all into music you will regret it if you don't.

I have just been going though ordering a 125i and was informed that Business Nav and Auto were standard for July builds on, but the list price is increasing slightly. But the BMW website and even their internal pricing system don't show this yet, so coming up with a quote last weekend was interesting.

I was told you can still get Manual but it will still cost the same as the Auto. So still an option but annoying because the Manual should really cost less as it will have less resale value and surely costs BMW less.

If almost all the cars sold have automatic gearboxes, the resale value of the only manual version on the market could actually be higher.

It really depends in the potential buyer market - from a trade in perspective, manual 135i coupes get bugger all as the dealer struggles to move them on.

It also depends a bit on the age of the vehicle. Those in market for a newish car will often prefer automatic and lots of gadgets. The last owner of the car when it is getting old, will often prefer a bit more simplicity and reliability. So if you buy the car to keep it for a long time before selling it, manual gears makes more sense. |
