BMW F20 LCI 118i purchase

Hi. I am cosidering buying a 118i 2016-2018 in the next few months. It will be with the B38 engine 1.5 liter. I read about some problems on the early MINI models with the B38 main bearings. Did they fix the problem until 2016 or there were also issues on the 1 series?
And my second question; currently I have an E92 LCI 320d. What do you say, will the F20 feel like an upgrade over the e92? (not taking in cosideration the power of the engine).

Hi. The only B38 engine issue I recall reported here is this one: https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show...6&postcount=42.

Reportedly, F20 is an upgrade over the previous generation regarding interior quality (and space ). Not so regarding handling: "electric" steering (consider avoiding Servotronic for reliability reasons: not a total disaster, but nasty issues were reported), soft basic suspension (M-Sport suspension feels like the previous basic, they say).
