Sir Frank Williams dies aged 79
Very sad news.
We've lost a legend. I love this picture. Back in the glory days, together with Keke.

Wow, sad news indeed. Some of my most memorable/favorite moments of F1 were him along with BMW power/Ralf/JPM.

Many these days won’t know who he is when they watch F1 but he is a legend of the sport. What he and Patrick Head did at Williams in the 80s and 90s was outstanding.
They were more a force in those days than many would understand largely due to that paring of management, getting the money in snd sheer raw engineering. RIP Sir Frank you are a legend and will be sorely missed by the sport. |
