Tailgate opening button
I am 116d Sport owner and I've got a question.
Is there a tailgate opening button under footwell? I read the manual P35 and it said there is a button inside. But I can't find it in my car!! |

Hold it in for 1sec, it's not immediate like the primary unlock button. |

It sounds like someone has accidently moved the door latch in the semi open position. That isolates the solinoid Open the boot hatch and move the latch into the fully unlocked positon and then into the locked position, then push the release button. That should reset it |

I don't have a boot release switch? Just a blank above the OBD Port? But I can use the door lock button in middle of dash to unlock boot

When I press the boot release button on the fob it unlocks all the doors and folds out the mirrors. Same as the primary unlock button except you have to press it for a second.
