DAB compatibility

In Norway and Denmark, I always have a long list of DAB radio stations to select from when driving the F20. I do however not see any stations in Sweden and Germany. Is this some compatibilty issue?

The DAB reception in Germany sorted itself out. I was probably just in too remote areas when testing yesterday. And it seems like Sweden has very lousy DAB coverage, so that explains why it wasn't working there.

I have never been outside Norway since I got DAB so I don't know. Did you try to select different DAB blocks?

In Sweden, I could only get Norwegian and Danish DAB blocks.

Sweden stopped DAB in 2005, but started again in 2012 it looks. Still they are far behind both Norway and Denmark.

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread, but does anyone know the range of DAB+ radio stations here in Australia? Just thinking whether to order DAB for our 125 or not.

I did a pass on DAB in my car, because I use a smartphone and the TuneIn radio app, which has coverage wherever your mobile carrier can supply the data!
