Hi all,

I have a BMW F20 1 series 66 plate with business navigation.

It has a 6.5 screen and was hoping to upgrade to an 8.8 screen as a direct swap.

I've attached an image for the part number of the 8.8 screen I bought second hand.

I plugged it in and coded using bimmer code - changing display resolution to 1280x480 and the display variente to breites but screen still saying no signal.

I just wanted to know if there's anything else I needed to do or simply I've just got the wrong 8.8 screen for my car.

I've been on realoem.com and entered my VIN number and the part number on the new 8.8 screen matched the one listed on realoem but not sure if that was enough.

Any help is much appreciated, I'm new here

This display is a NBT system. If your car is a pre-LCI F20, you have most likely a CIC system and is not compatible with NBT

I tried this on my 2014 F20 with business radio and had the same result so I fitted an aftermarket Android 10.25" screen from Aliexpress.
