What I did noticed is that the engine is noisy from outside the car, but inside it's really quiet (not extremely quiet, but acceptable). Your steering wheel problem is not common, you should go to your dealer.

I use to have that same noise from steering wheel in winter, but when the cold wheaters ended it vanished same time. Mileage was then 8k-12k.

Garage List
No squeaking here, but I do notice the vibration (not all the times) when the A/C is on and I am stationary...when I switch it off, the vibration disappears. It is a very slight one, but noticable.

I had the same problem with the steering wheel, the car is in the BMW bodyshop today, the technician heard the noise and said it is a common problem that affect the 1 and 3 series.

Will keep you guys posted when i get the car back.
