Adaptive headlight failure

I’ve just changed the headlight OSF as the led DRL failed. It’s a used part.

All plugged in and working; xenon, DRL and indicator work fine but now there is an adaptive headlight failure coming up on dash.

I’ve also noticed Xenon’s and beams are not level.

Any advice would be great! Do I need to get the new headlight coded in or?

Many thanks

Did you move the control units from your old headlight to to new one? There should be 2 in each headlight (one for xenon and one for adaptive function). If replaced, they need to be coded to the car and this kinda sounds as if your car had trouble identifying the module.
