Worked for Audi, respected the cars....not necessarily the quality. But the S5 is a gorgeous pup.

Interior quality? It leads the class, I think.

It?s tough to be objective once you?ve seen the sausage making in process. I?d be willing to bet behind the scenes looks at other manufacturers would yield similar concerns.

How long will it take to be built and get here. I'm dying over here. I told myself I would never order another car because of the wait. Here I am...

Audi is much worse than BMW at least based on the 2016 Allroad we ordered. No online tracking, number to call, etc. Only thing they had, at least then, was order has gone in and a call from dealer saying your car is here.

BMW does a nice job of keeping the OCD insanity at bay with its regular updates that are easily available.

Garage List
All German cars look very similar to each other these days especially their coups and sedans.

The Audi looks great , congrats

Keep in mind, I saw what went through the shop from before purchase to post purchase.

Mind you, a new car on warranty or lease. Whats the worry. I'm not at that level and still buy used cars so I need to pay more attention to these things. Audi's are beautiful though and make a great car. My pick right now would be the RS3.

I don't know, man, that's a lot of scratch for a small sedan. I think OP hit the sweet spot in the Audi lineup. Especially given his location and road conditions, he doesn't need RS anything for hot laps on the Beltway. DC especially is a motherfucker, last time I was down there I got 3 tickets in the mail a week later from speed cameras.

All you "need" is a 2.5L NA 4 banger to be frank. From there it's "want".

I was thinking about the S5 sportback as a better daily than my 6MT F80.
My wife has a 2015 S4, so I'm somewhat familiar with how they drive which has a more luxurious feel than the BMW.

In the end I couldn't give up the performance.

You're the Audi version of myself. I use to work for BMW, so I know what went on behind the scenes. I got you, though.

I'm going crazy over here trying to figure out if it has been built yet or if it is being built, or if it has gotten on a boat yet. ETA is December.

Nah, lol. I would have had the Superman Combo. I went with Nevarra Blue with a black leather interior.

Thank you. None of the M cars appeal to me. I have and still despise this generation M3/M4.
