AUX CODING - Carplay MMI

Hi All,
I want to buy an MMI carlplay. I have an NBT Evo, ID6, business with 6.5” display.
Now i don’t have aux voice on the menu, it is possible coding it using bimmercode? If yes, what are the fields to code?
Thank’s in advance

Chances are you'll only need to update one option.

Hi, thank’s.
I have updated CDMM_AUX_SIMPLE_1 to AKTIV and aux selection appears.
I don’t know if it’s the solution, now i don’t have the MMI..have to order it

Hi all, sorry to revive an old thread but I want to provide some information based on my experience doing this.

I have a 2019 118i just like paivig. I purchased a Droid UK MMI box for CarPlay. My 118i does not have AUX, so I coded it in by ensuring that these were set to "aktiv" on my EntryNav2 head unit:

3000 HMI:
CDMM_AUX_HU
CDMM_ANALOG_AUX
CDMM_AUX_SIMPLE_1

Once set, the Aux output appeared in my car. Unfortunately selecting this did not provide any sound from the MMI box, although at maximum volume, I can hear the sound, but it is VERY faint, almost like it's picking up the sound as interference, a lot of static noises.

I am interested to hear feedback from anyone who has coded in Aux who found that it actually worked and allowed them to hear sound from their MMI box, if that's you, what car do you have and what MMI box are you using?

Hey mate, have you got the 2 green optical cables on your model's wiring harness? If so, did you transfer them to the MMI's harness? These carry sound and could be the reason why you have no sound over AUX. Otherwise, if that isn't the issue, I may be in the same boat as you soon - I have an F20 M140i with the NBT EVO ID6 head unit. I've managed to code AUX in but only just ordered the MMI box, so yet to see if it works! Wish me luck!

Hello, I have tried to do the same in an F48 but those options do not appear in Bimmer code, is there a way to do it?
