Good Winter boots to wear with dress pants?

As you all can tell, I live in Chicago where it snows like crazy. I wear dress pants and a shirt every day to work.

I don't want to wear my dress shoes when it's all muggy and wet out. Does anyone have a good recommendation for winter boots that would look good with dress pants?

I gave up on on trying to wear a single shoe in the winter. I change into my dress shoes once I get to the office.
Ecco boots have got me through countless Chicago winters. I'd recommend still wearing warm socks so make sure you have these when you try them on or maybe go up one size to accommodate. I normally wear a 45 Ecco but for boots with thick socks, I'm better off in a 46. Oh and these are real leather so they'll need some modest maintenance. https://us.ecco.com/ecco-track-25-me...04_color=52600

+1 on changing shoes at the office. In the past I have worn "rubbers" or shoe covers. They work but are a pain to put on and take off.

Ooo, another fancy shoe thread. I have a pair of sketcher leather ankle boots that I love. They're like walking on clouds.

I have a few Cole Haan leather boots. They look good with dress pants, but because it's a leather boot, comfort is not the best.

Ecco has a range of very comfy and decent looking boots.

Last set is some Ted Baker chukka's which pair well with jeans or chino's.

Another vote for Ecco. I have a bunch of their shoes and sandals. Great orthotics as well.

The Walking Company sells Ecco. They have a store at Water Tower Place in Chicago.

How are you going to wear these in the winter?

The criteria was boots that look good with dress pants. The boots above have seen light snow, and never had any snow or water getting in.

If you're walking through slush all day, then wear something appropriate. FYI - I would never wear these to work. They would be really out of place in the downtown core. These are too casual.

+1 on Eccos. I used to work in downtown DC and walk around one of the federal buildings all day. Had my 10k steps before lunch and they repelled the snow and ice with a quick wipe of them with a paper towel in the morning.
