BMW F20 Coding
Hi there,
just wondering if anyone knows how to code the door handle led lights to come on when you reverse the car? Using E-Sys please, looked at cheat sheets and can't see this option. Thanks in advance |

No problem, I sorted this ... got info from F30 (FEM_BODY) section 3070
All coded and now working Out of interest, what coding have you guys done to your cars, I have got a M135i I want to do the digital speed on the dash, also thinking of deactivating the auto start / stop as I find it annoying! Rear tailgate DRL's running would be good also. Last edited by JimboMoss77; 03-02-2022 at 01:00 PM.. |

F21 2013 . Have saturday free to try out some basic coding. Digital Speedo for starters. Have been searching for coding steps to change cruise control speed to km's Cluster is in miles , have set milage to km's in idrive .Cruise still displays miles . Any idea what settings affect cruise control speed display . found an old E90 thread and this worked for that ... C0A_V_EINHEIT from wert_01 to wert_00 and C0A_SETZ_V_MAX from wert_03 to wert_02 Not sure it's applicable to an F SERIES. Thx. |

Unsure how difficult it is to remove current switches / buttons tho… hoping I don’t have to remove the steering wheel? I can get the cruise control buttons for about £150 used |

I have a 2016 F20, and I also deactivate this auto start/stop...
I will try to always show the temperature, or maybe use some custom LED & hardware on OBD to show me that |

How did you do it? I was wondering if there is a setting for it in iDrive? Or it has to be done with coding? I have a 2017 F20 and want to disable this too... |

For Auto Start Stop function setting use BimmerCode.
Engine temperature can be observed through the system/hidden menu. Here are some discussions of the topic: . |

I know I can find it in the hidden menu, but the operation is too long (10sec+ press on the button, my code is 23 (too long). So adding another hardware to show me the temp will be usefull. Quote:
