2013 bmw 116i f20

I recently went from halogen stock headlights to xenon angel eye headlights.
The DRLS work fine but the car comped up with the following wanting lights;
Left side dipped beam failure,
Right side dipped beam failure,
Parking lights failure.
When I switch the lights to the “0” position only the passenger side DRLS turns on and it’s a lot brighter than how it would be if both were on.
I’ve watched all the videos i could find and I’ve done everything correctly.
I’ve seen a few mention of a “ballast” but I haven’t seen it in the tutorials I watched.
The lights I got were described as plug and play.
Please could anyone assist? How can I sort this out?
