F87 M2 Airbox into F21 M135i - does it make sense?
Hi,
I'm playing with the idea of using a M Performance air box in my 2014 F21 M135i, as it's MHD Stage 2 and maybe it could use more air. My question is: Has anyone of you tried it and can definitely say, that it was beneficial to use the M2 airbox, as it's less restrictive? That's the one I'm talking about: thanks in advance! Hi there, i installed the M2 lower section airbox (included even on F30 MPPK), for 1 year now. Is not a night and day difference, but better throttle response and more vigorous high end, regard the cons a little bit increse in IAT about 2 or 3 deg Celsius. I run stage 1 MHD, this modification is cheap and has a good value for money, if you plan to go stage 2 i suggest you directly a complete CAI like Eventuri.
Are important modification in the induction system fluid dynamics also the Turbo intake Pipe, Intercooler and charge pipe.
