disclaimer: I would like to mention to all who may read this that I am not making light of domestic abuse. I just hate to see anyone fall into this lifestyle by the inability to take up for themselves.

update on that situation
she thought i was joking - some of you will remember last time i was about to leave she ended up coming over and gave me shit for "trying to break up with her" since then - but it wasn't nice when she realized i was actually serious...

she handled it well but i could tell she was heartbroken. we both knew it wasn't really something for the history books with her going to grad school etc but still i felt like she was at least expecting this talk to happen a few months down the line, not today


i feel bad about it, almost as if it was an actual break up with a girlfriend but i stand by my decision... :I

idk, we met last year first semester (september-october 2017) so it has been a while too i wouldn't necessarily call that a short amount of time

but first it was like we're two people just hanging out, then over time it evolved into this

and yes the new name is pretty hilarious

Bad. I met this girl from Canada. She said she would arrange the first date. I agreed. She took us to a bookstore! Then she sat in the corner on the floor and started reading... she asked me to join her on the floor with a book. I said I needed the restroom... never returned.

history isn't my thing but the setting just sounds great

honestly one of the best dates i've ever had was when i met up with the girl at her school and walking around on campus the library caught my eye so i dragged her inside and we spent a good few hours going over interesting sounding psych books and making out between the shelves

10/10 if she didn't ghost me would definitely do it again

Something like that could be different I don't deny it. If there is interaction of discussing topics or being spontaneous... however, with this chick... to sit in a bookstore obstructing an aisle... and acting anti-social once she had her book.

Under different circumstances may be it could have made for a unique date.

The unique and good one for me was actually book related in the end. When I was courting my wife... we met online... she invited me to her Church book club. She didn't think I would attend. I did... and it was great.

Similiar situation here. Showed up at the address she gave me. I had looked online thinking it was an Indian restaurant....but was a bookstore.

She comes up to me in traditional Indian dress (Now this was a blonde hair / blue eye girl)....and tells me Namaste.

I told her she must have me confused for being something else and l politely left.

Maybe I should have stuck around, but she was completely different than the first date where she never let on that she was that involved in the culture.....not that there is anything wrong with it.

Just took me off guard and I felt out of place.
