I miss my thick dark wavy hair. At one point it was so thick and luxurious that it was difficult to get a brush through it. Fast forward 15 years and it turned into a fine mist....or even brown smoke rather, that seemed to hover around my shiny cranium that peeked beneath the mist just enough to blind people when the light would reflect off of it just right.

I keep that shit shaved now. Apparently women really like bald guys. Who knew.

Funny side story. Was laying in bed with the girlfriend a few weeks ago and asked what she noticed first about men and what she was attracted to. Her first response: "I really find guys attractive that have longer hair" ouch....

Don't get me wrong I didn't take offense to it too much as even though we all have different things we are attracted to, there are still different things that are attractive on different people.

I'm typically attracted to brunettes with blue or green eyes but the current girlfriend is blonde.

Still would have been nice to hear "nothing is sexier than a bald guy"

I came really close to making a comment about how brunettes are the hottest.......but I know better.

Update:

I tried disappearing for a while. It only lasted a little while before she reached out and it's starting to feel like I'm that movie, "Wedding Crashers." She's not a stage 5 clinger, but she loves spending time with me. I'm not complaining though. It's pretty nice. I don't know what the future holds, but I'll keep you guys updated.

When I lived in Austin, I liked to walk the Town Lake Trail which is now called "Lady Bird Lake".

I have a brick there with my name on it. When she asked me 'have you been here before?

it wasn't really a rock. Just a bit of gravel.


I took her home afterwards, and that was the end of the trail.
