I know it wasn't a full size but the mercedes x-class looked pretty good even tho it was just a re-branded frontier.

Not full size, and more on the "utility" side vs luxury, but there's the VW Amarock. VW also had that larger Atlas concept whose interior was a bit nicer.

Beat me to it, there’s already an Amarok. So why not make a more luxurious version of that. As for myself, would like to see an s63 powered bmw M truck, been saying this for a long time. Or a smaller truck with s58 engine variant. Or, to get the most hate, hybrid truck.
